Church Services

The three churches have different styles of worship to suit different tastes but are united by one faith.

This Sunday's services are listed in the box on the right. You can also download the Dates for your Diary from the parish magazine on the Talks & resources page.

At St Margaret's Ockley there is a 9.30am Morning Service every week.

At St John the Baptist Okewood there is an 11am Service: Family service as on the 1st Sunday of the month; Morning Service on the 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays; Holy Communion on the 4th Sunday of the month and a very short version of communion after the morning service on the second sunday.

At Okewood there is parking in the Church Lane, followed by a short walk up the hill, if you have trouble getting up the hill, there is parking beside the Ark (up the hill from the church) for the infirm or disabled. If you are a regular, please consider newcomers and leave the spaces nearest Church free.

This is in addition to the recent changes at Holy Trinity, Forest Green: The Healing Service has moved to the third Sunday of the month, and a new Evening Service has started on the 4th Sunday, both at 6pm. There will no longer be an 8.30am communion on the third Sunday.

Modern
For a modern style of worship come to St John's Okewood at 11.00am Sunday mornings - once a month there's a family service (1st sunday) and either a Morning Service or Communion on other Sundays. A state of the art projector and screen are used for projecting words and films.

There is also an evening service and Healing Service at 6pm, Holy Trinity Forest Green, on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month respectively.

On second sundays at Forest Green- Sunday Night Live at 6pm for 14 - 34 year olds.

Traditional
If you prefer a more traditional style of worship, for early risers every Sunday there is an 8.30am Communion Service at either St. Margaret's Ockley or Holy Trinity Forest Green using the book of common prayer.

Or there is the 9.30am morning Service at St. Margarets Ockley.

At different points in the year there are the usual special services (such as Easter & Christmas).

All of our services seek to be open and welcoming to newcomers, come along and give it a try!
