Women's Breakfast
CHANGE TO EVENT
Jennifer Rees Larcombe will be unable to speak to us on March 6th, as she is in
Canada at the bedside of her critically ill grand-daughter Millie.
INstead we have Mark Stubbs, a fireman and “Pink Lady Challenge” transatlantic canoeist is coming to Okewood Women’s Breakfast on March 6th to give us his testimony.
A non-Christian within a Christian family, he attempted in 2004 to break the North Atlantic rowing record by completing the 2100 miles from Newfoundland , Canada to Falmouth in Cornwall. Along with his three fellow canoeists Mark was rescued by a passing cargo ship when they got caught up in Hurricane Alex. While waiting to be rescued Mark’s life began to change for ever….
