Holy Week Concert at Okewood
TUESDAY 3 APRIL 2012
The Trustees of the Friends of St John the Baptist Church, Okewood are delighted to announce that as part of their event programme for 2012, they will be hosting the Brockham Choral Society for a performance of William Lloyd Webber’s great work - The Saviour – at 8pm on Tuesday 3 April at Okewood Church...

The Choral Society is giving this performance as part of a series of charitable events during Holy Week in Churches around the area. Courtesy of a large choir - with professional singers and organist - this will be an occasion full of drama and enables the Friends Trust not only to mount an exciting event in a wonderful 13th century Church, but also to take the opportunity to raise much-needed funds towards the repair and maintenance of our ancient building and important projects associated with it.
Please don’t miss this opportunity to come and hear Okewood Church filled with wonderful music and voices – as well as enjoying a glass or two of wine and snacks in The Ark following the performance.
Tickets are priced at £10 (to include refreshments) and are available from Tony Godby (Okewood Churchwarden) on 01306 627619: Barry Thomson (Secretary – Friends of Okewood Trust) on 01306 621234; or from Village Greens Farm Shop, Coles Lane, Ockley. [NB If you wish to pay by cheque, please make them payable to The Friends of Okewood Church].
